I thought these always have a ton of warnings about being harmful to cats, and that they should be used on dogs only, no?

You can use for cats as long you keep the dose right. It's all the same product. I have 2 dogs and a cat and I just buy the 140lbs package. Each bottle is enough for both my dogs and cats (one dog is 65, the other dog 60lbs and the cat 10lbs)
