I just bought this last week from Amazon for the same price. In hindsight, I probably should've gotten Home Depot to match just because of their excellent return policy.

For the record, I own about 10 EGO products. My favorite is the edger, and the self-propelled lawnmower. It has got to be the best brand out there.
I bought this 2 weeks ago for $103 when it was on sale. This thing is awesome. I used it a lot to cut a ton of branches all around my property. Cuts so easily. I have an electric chainsaw and I have no need for that now. The only thing I thing one would need would be the 31" extension they sell for $60. There were a few branches I couldn't reach, unless I got out my ladder. This definitely is a very handy add on to get if you already own the power head. Just know that it doesn't come with any oil for the chain, so make sure to buy some before hand.

Amazon has it for 50 at the moment. Out of stock right now, but you can still order it.

Damn, I wish I had purchased Ego ecosystem instead of Greenworks! Picke up a 60v trimmer last fall from Lowe's, can't get the trimmer line to feed. Customer supports sucks, no one picks up, emailed them 4x, no response. Can't even Amex it, as Greenworks has 4 year warranty! 😠

Curious if you ever have issue with chain oil leaking all the time? I have the Kobal version and it's a mess. Works great! But messy.

They both have their strengths. I actually have both (greenworks deal last fall too). I have the ego blower (awesome), trimmer (kinda sucks), and chainsaw (awesome), and the greenworks hedge trimmer which is actually better than ego.

Thanks for your reply. I have both the Greenworks blower and straight trimmer. That's another pet peeve with these trimmers, why don't they make it curved on the end, I'm about 5' 10", I feel like I have to hunch to trim evenly. The B&D I gave up to upgrade to Greenworks was more comfortable to use.
BTW, does anyone know if the Ego power head with choice of attachments is heavy to use?
