Does a dummy lever not have any spring inside? I'm trying to find a spring replacement for an entrance door lever and don't want to spend $100 for a replacement lock/ lever set when the only thing wrong is the spring broke and lever doesn't return to horizontal position. And you can't find a similar spring replacement on eBay or amazon

This is a non movable door handle. The round handles are much better IMO since these give extra leverage. You don't want a house guest snapping your handle off trying to twist it.

In what situation would you use these? How would a door stay closed without the function of turning the barrel lock ?
I'm just curious, because I have the pop lock version of these throughout some of the rooms in the house.

I have these on my linen closet. The door stays shut using a ball tensioner catch that's in the top of the door.

When one door closes another door opens.
