Actually just watched House of Wax 3d last night! Really enjoyed it and felt the transfer and 3d were very well done. The paddle ball guy is really fun! Also cool to see a young Charles Bronson "in a non-speaking role." One of the actresses went on to play Morticia Addams and Wonder Woman's mother among other roles. Another fun fact--the director of the movie was blind in one eye and thus unable to perceive 3d. Great movie for any lover of classic 3d!

I've never seen this movie. I've only seen the Paris Hilton one[amazon.com]. Might check out Vincent Price version.
It's also $6.99 to buy the Digital HD version[amazon.com] on Amazon. Might use some no rush credits on it. I don't think the digital one is in 3D though.

If you have 3d capability definitely 3d is the version to get. I think I am in "no rush" to see anything with Paris Hilton lol...
It's a Warner Archive reprint. They can make as many copies as they want so this is in no chance of selling out or selling for "hundreds"
Yea the original is out of print. This is the reprint. If they're no longer printing the original with the original artwork then it is out of print and you can't order it and that version is going for hundreds. Idk how it is a hard concept if they're made to order but are no longer taking orders, then whatever is circulating is only what's available.
People can list stuff on eBay for as much as they want. Sold listings show the old version selling for around $40-60 with outliers on both ends, though I suppose you can claim that the price has gone down due to the new reprint.

It's a shame I sold my extra copy for $20 a year ago

Yea if they were still in print at the time, no one in their right mind would pay you $20 if they could get it for $16 shipped to their door.

I like the cover art better. Wish I would've seen it. Now it's like $60-$100 or something stupid based on new listings I check daily
