review from a third random guy just for you sure it ranks behind the other 2 routers according to him the Netgear Nighthawk AX12 and ASUS GT-AX11000 but its instock and alot cheaper and the performance is very good just not the best but probably wins hands down for price/performance https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/f...ear-tplink

With this price, it should already have multi-gig or 10g ports.
it does have 2.5 gig wan port but you wont get that speed over the lan ports because they are gig, you could maybe hit over a gig with the ax wireless with the right adapter and in the right conditions
I have been looking at this router versus some mesh routers (the TP-Link Deco M9, Google Nest and
First Alert Onelink-Mesh Tri-Band WiFi Router @ Costco and the Linksys Velop AC4600 on clearance @ some Walmart stores). The mesh systems seem really good, but the lack of Ethernet ports, no Wifi 6 and no dedicated wireless backhaul give me pause. I have also looked at the AmpliFi Alien Router and MeshPoint @ $699.00, which has incredible range (listed at 20,000 sqft), but that is a steep price.
Any thoughts on this TP-Link Archer AX11000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 Router? Anyone currently using it or tried it?

It could be because 6E is what many are waiting for.

why are decent routers out of stock everywhere if everyone is waiting? i wanted the Asus RT-AX89X but its been out of stock forever and this seems like a decent option and how much is faster wifi really gonna help without a faster connection to the home, this ax router will max out my 600mb connection wirelessly and i probably wont upgrade for a while unless some new tech comes along that requires a faster connection, for what i do now gaming and movies 600mb is good enough for me atleast, some new must have technology would be cool it always is but stuff still uses the 2.4 band like all my wifi plugs and my pos ring doorbell.

Sorry my bad. I assumed you were referring to the lack good AX routers. The lack of stock could be due to Covid impact on the supply chain.
I've been waiting for this to go on sale and this is the lowest price I've found anywhere. Costco usually sells this for $399 not on sale. The only other place I've seen this listed recently is B&H for $449. Previous prices on amazon were also in the $499-549 ranges. It's out of stock almost everywhere else.
I'm planning on using this to replace my existing google WiFi (first gen) mesh to provide less interference (uses beam-forming) and support new devices with WiFi 6.

If you have a big house with complicated walls and placement, this router will not help in terms of coverage or at least it did not in my home. i am going back to mesh and will try the deco m9.
TP-LINK's customer service is terrible! I'm in the process of dealing with them right now. Their link aggregation on these routers are not the standard LACP and my devices lost connection immediately. Their "traffic meter" page is just for show and unlike netgear or asus you can't configure it to do anything incase you go over the limit of your alloted usage from your ISP. The speeds are slower by at least 30mbps compared to netgear and asus.
