What I wanna know is will there be a real separate PS5/XB1SX version or are they both the same they will just update the box to say the new systems and it'll run/look better. If not I'd like to go ahead and preorder it now but not if there will be a real new one for those systems.
No thanks. If i wanted God of War I would buy God of War. Ubisoft has gone completely away from the original premise of Assassin's Creed. Just using the name to push a game that has nothing to do with the original premise.
I can understand being disillusioned with the current AC formula, but your comparison to God of War makes no sense.
It's like comparing Game of Thrones and How to Train Your Dragon because they have dragons in common.

To be fair, they had to evolve the series since the old formula of "follow this guy, kill him, run away" formula got REALLY old. That said, Odyssey was basically a Greek RPG 1st with focus on being an AC game 2nd. It looks like Valhalla is going to be more like what Origins was (AC game with RPG elements) but I guess we'll have to see when it is released.

It's possible they will be different due to graphics requirements. Unless the base game is only included and that content would be separate download.

I would say Tuesday may answer that as there is supposed to be a big reveal.

Least by the time I finally get to Valhalla, it'll be cheap enough to do so.
Origins and Odyssey turned out to be great, and I hope Valhalla keeps the momentum going.
