This is the older gen that can only charge Apple devices at 5W. If you have iPhone, skip this.
The first popular Qi charging which supports 5W charging came out a long time ago. Charging at 5W is really slow. Then Android phones started to support 10W Qi charging. The 10W Qi charger that we see here can also charge other devices at 5W. This was a standard for awhile.... Until Apple joined the wireless charging game and support the weird 7.5W Qi charging (that no other manufacturers use) for the iPhone 8 and newer.
Long story short, you want a Qi charger that supports 7.5W for your iPhone. In most cases, you need to pickup a Qualcom Quick Charge 2.0 or newer to power the charger.

/this is cheap. Grab one and gift it to your Android friends. Smilie
sick of these hockey puck form factors. hard to get alignment right and sometimes it doesn't charge. go for the phone shaped anker ones. i get the alignment perfectly every time.

Don't think it comes with the charging adapter. It is just the charging pad.

The description said the box will have 1 USB cable. 5.99$ is pretty good deal if you need it.

What's with all these wireless chargers and their inability to charge AirPods?

I'm with you. Nothing's worse than waking up to see the phone at 15%. The stand type makes it easy to get the sweet spot every time.

It will technically work, but only at slow charge (5w) rate. Pre-iPhone 8/Xr /Xs version, will only fast charge some Android phones.

That isn't a problem if you pay attention to where your power/volume buttons are when you place the phone on the charger. However, if you want the freedom to just drop your phone on the charger then invest in a 2 coils or 3 coils charger.
