For what these cost the companies to manufacture (<$1-2, if that), they should just toss these things if they are returned.
You don't sell used/refurbed ear buds, that's trash, literal trash.
"Even" $0 isn't even slick, nothing slick about used/refurbed earbuds. Groddy, big time.
If you are buying refurbed earbuds, that's sad... only on SD.
*EDIT* Am I missing something? Does refurb mean something other than used, i.e., been in someone else's groddy ears?
Grody only has 1 d.

Without a strong seal in the ear, sound quality will suffer.
It is possible to get these to seal properly after attaching the rubber base and tip to each bud, just very difficult. Also, I have dozens of extra tips I have collected over the years, from buds by shure, sony and many others and for the 1st time ever I couldn't get a single tip other than what came in the package to work.
The tips on these JBL peaks are fatter and have less height then "normal" earbud tips. Once i got the hang of it though i was able to insert them with a good seal repeatably.
Anywho, after taking some time and getting good at getting them sealed in ear, they sound pretty great for 30 bucks. Strong bass and the mid and highs aren't too muddy I don't have much in price range to compare them with but i do have a few things.
The JBL Endurance peaks are about as good as my wired koss fitclips and my wireless jlab epic2's.
Lastly I have a $30 generic chinese wireless earbuds and the jbl's are noticeably better sounding than those.
For me though the real test will be this weekend when i see how their connectivity is while i am running. And the seal is touchy so i guess time will tell how it holds up to sweat and jostling as well. Might have to size up to the large tips, although they create quite a bit more suction.
I guess one more review bit, the charging case is way overly bulky for having a pretty small battery in it and no way to charge other devices and no wireless charging on a pad.
