Grain free is linked to DCM in dogs. may be worth looking into that if you're considering this and similar foods.

Grain-free totally gives our Frenchie the squirts. EEK!

Some ridiculous lady at Pet Food Express was pushing us on Grain-friendly kibble. Naturally I asked her what that was and she had no idea. Apparently it's a trademarked term (FirstMate) that means the food uses "a combination of quality grains without the additional of corn, wheat or soy to provide superior nutrition." Grain-friendly is not grain free.

My wife and I left with a higher-end Canadian kibble w/ grain and Stella and Chewy's dehybrated patties that we kind of mix together.

We moved from grain free after the FDA released their report.
