Home Depot and Amazon have the 18v Makita Hedge Trimmer for $109. Some local Home Depot's seem to have a decent amount of stock. Its not the lowest on CCC ($99) but i've been watching for a price drop and it finally did.

I just picked one up and gave it a quick 30 second test and its doesn't seem to reciprocate really fast like an older corded Hedge Hog i used to have but it does a nice job of cutting through the branches. Very happy.

Do they have a shorter one? 22 feet is pretty unwieldy for a hedge trimmer

I purchased a weed eater trimmer last year for $25 battery powered through slickdeals. I have used it about 5 times so far. It's a 24" (I believe or could be 20") but has done phenomenal job. Love it I have it to cut some small branches of my neighbors trees flowing into my backyard.

Of course Makita will be different and a lot more powerful. But I like mine since it gets the job done and the battery last fairly long.

Which chainsaw and where do you find the coupons for the $50 and battery? I see the battery offer on the Makita page but can't figure out where/how to obtain it

Homedepot has the 50/100 offer - see images under trimmer. But I can't figure out how to get that 50 off in my cart...

Been thinking about getting a makita chainsaw lately but not sure if I should pony up for the 36v one. They're pretty reasonable on ebay.

looks like the 50 comes off automatically but HD is not doing the free battery from what I can see.

Bought a 22" Black and Decker corded and its complete crap. The blades are already dull after like 2 uses so they chew the branches not cut cleanly. Are the blades on this any better?
