Swann 16-Channel 4K Ultra HD NVR Security System with 3TB HDD, 6 4K Bullet Cameras and 2 4K Spotlight Bullet Cameras
Innovative Thermal-Sensing Motion Detection Technology
Swann's True Detect PIR Thermal Sensing technology detects motion by heat, such as from people & cars, to trigger recording and push notifications. This virtually eliminates false triggers, like plants moving with the wind, to only capture events with security relevance.
Get amazing detail with 4K Ultra HD which is 4x the resolution of 1080p Full HD. Zoom in closer with unprecedented clarity to essential evidence such as license plates, facial features and clothing details.

Cameras
The 6 NHD-885MSB bullet cameras and 2 NHD-885MSFB spotlight bullet cameras come with Ethernet cables and are weatherproof, built tough for the outdoors or indoors. The NHD-885MSFB spotlight cameras can see up to 150ft / 45m in total darkness & the ability to see color at night with the super bright sensor spotlights on for added protection.
Enjoy easy camera installation with Power over Ethernet (PoE) as each camera is connected via Cat 5 network cable to transmit power, video and audio.

3TB Hard Drive
The massive 3TB HDD is designed especially for continuous surveillance recording. Easily transfer incident video files to a USB stick or to a computer on your network. With such massive storage, you can come back from your long vacation and still find recordings from a while back.

Prevent Unwanted Activity
The 2 sensor spotlight cameras turn the lights on & trigger recording in full color when they detect heat. The 2-way audio & siren let you talk back & scare off intruders.

Control with your Voice
Now it's even easier to see what's happening using voice commands via the Google Assistant (using your Smartphone or Google Home) and your Chromecast device. You can customize commands such as "Ok google, show me the front door" and then stream video from the cameras to your smart TV.
The HomeSafe View app ensures you'll always be connected to your home or business, allowing you to see your cameras on your smartphone or tablet, live or playback, from wherever you are in the world.

How does this compare to the Lorex 8 camera for around the same price?

Thanks for posting. This seems to be a good deal, especially from Costco. Interested in The Godfather Matt's opinion

This deal was posted earlier here on SDs, for some reason it no longer exists.

Sigh... so quick summary of what I noted:

1) The Swann kit appears to be a Raysharp OEM kit.

2) Hard to find more specs on the sensor in the cameras from the Swann webpage.

I don't know much about the Raysharp OEM cameras / NVRs.

Ideally we want to find a comparison and contrast review between the two kits. So far I have found less info on Raysharp setup and configuration compared to Dahua or Hikvision OEM products.

Looks like a thread has started on ipcamtalk on these.

It was $699 last month. You might even be able to call Costco and get that price. I bought it and have been playing around with it.

$799 in-store, so I highly doubt a call will get you $699.
