They are not. Generics either don't have good adhesion or don't remove well. I always keep some band aids in my sports bag. The few generics that I had, after a year were crap but the band aid ones seem to going for ever.
I hate the generic ones, they seem to lose all adhesion when they get wet. Which includes sweat. Its worth it to pay extra for the name brand ones imo.
As a frequent band aid user being a glazier for 15 years, I can tell you these are the best band aids you can buy, the fabric is stretchy and tough. They handle water well too.

100-Ct Band-Aid Flexible Fabric Adhesive Bandages was a little cheaper a while back as an add-on item. Current price is about the same as generic.

Thanks! I think the Band-Aid brand of the flexible ones are better than the genetics.
