Was looking for a bug zapper and found this at Costco which is $10 off. It's a great price for a well reviewed bug zapper. I'm going to give it a shot. Thought to share it with you guys as well.

Also Costco has DynaTrap 1 Acre now in stock after it was OOS for a long time.

I got mine about a month for $80. It seems to make a decent impact. I empty it about once a week and it's full of bugs including hundreds of mosquitos. I live in Illinois and it gets so bad here in the summer due to my garden that you can't even sit outside on the patio.

Unfortunately I haven't caught a single fly in it. Works great for mosquitoes and tiny/weaker insects. I don't think the fan vacuum can pull down flies. Wish it did. Just my observation so far.

In for one and if you're considering I'd say order now and think later.

I've spent the past week or so trying to buy a dynatrap and I was sorry to have missed the sams deal. This is pretty great compared to any other dynatrap deals out there. Given that it's now summer almost everyone is out of stock and these are very expensive at the moment.

So happy to get one for a decent price from Costco. Hope it comes with spare bulbs like previous deals did, but honestly it doesn't matter. I probably won't miss the shepherds hook that the sams deal included.

Thanks for posting OP.

Please note that this trap would catch pretty much every kinds of insects, including all the beneficial ones like butterflies and bees. If you have any kind of fruit tree in your garden, and looking for those insects to carry the pollen for you, you should have a second thought before buying this trap.

I just picked a 2nd one of these up from Costco for $59.99 in North Texas this past weekend FWIW. Might be $10 more online?

How does it compare to the Sam's one? The one on Sam's onsale has pole mount and seems more discount?

I caught June bugs with mine so doesn't have to do anything with the size of the fan. I just don't think that the flies are attracted to the light.

Not according to their website:

DOES MY DYNATRAP ATTRACT BUTTERFLIES AND HONEYBEES/BUMBLEBEES?
No, butterflies, honeybees, and bumblebees will not be attracted to DynaTrap because they are not attracted to CO2. However, it will attract and trap yellow jackets, hornets, and wasps.

Pretty funny... But note that in addition to CO2, the Dynatrap also has LIGHT. I had to return my 1-acres Dynatrap to Costco after just one night because it caught way too many small butterflies, with only 1 - 2 mosquitoes, probably during the night when the light is so attracting...

The light on mine is barely visible.. is this normal? It's about 1/10 as bright as my bug zapper
