"also supports USB 2 for sync and data transfer"

Shocked Apple made a USB 2.0 type c cable.
guess that's why they are marketing as a "charge cable"

There are also 2 different thickness of this cable from Apple too. The one that came with my 2018 Macbook 12" is thinner and only allows up to 60w, even when plugged into an 85w charger charging a Pro. The one that came with the Pro charges at the full 85w. I spent a good day or two trying to figure out why the battery was draining.

It looks like the 1' cable is low power for iPads. The 2' cable works up to 87w.

I REALLY wish they would put out a 2m TB3 cable. The length on the TB3 cable is positively lame.

hold up, i thought this too, but it's not. i actually bought a USB-C power monitor and saw that the thinner cable is capable of 100w charging. i tested it on a hyperjuice battery that's capable of 100w charging. please correct this before misinformation spreads.
