Dell has a VisionTek Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB GDDR6 DVI-D HDMI DP Graphics Card - 901315 for $149.99
https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/s...&gclsrc=ds
previous deals were requiring rebates to reach that price. Here it is no hassle.

It is faster card than RX 580, consumes much less energy and performance improvements are coming with each driver release.

RX580 has 8 gb so... this isn't as capable and likely slower too.

Opinions are like butt holes they all stink so stop sharing yours.

The RX 5500 uses the more recent GDDR6. No opinion there's reasons to get one or the other and the article will inform you more if you're considering this.

If anybody has a comparison of rx 5500 xt 4 gb vs RX 580 8 gb that'd be more informative and applicable so please share.

Denying that 4gb is for 1080p and below is a wild assertion in 2020. This card isn't for gaming in 1440p which the 580 does handle. That's a fact. 580 is a more capable card.

This is a better card compared to the 580. However, it is dragged down by the 4GB. In new games with my 5700xt at 1440p, I can almost reach the 8GB VRAM.

Honestly I'm not sure what AMD was thinking with a 4GB 5500xt.

This is still a pretty good deal though.

What's a best bang for buck 4 or 8gb card that will be quiet and not sound like a jet engine?

About the RX580/480 comparison, note that this has only one DisplayPort; unlike how RX 580/480 having 3.

I dunno what these people are saying. Benchmarks look equal to or better than a 580 when comparing 4gb to 4gb.
Obviously 8gb is better but both the 5500xt and 580 have 8gb options too from what I see.

8gb is $20 more after rebate, but for $170 the 5500 xt seems like a meh deal.

dell also has the 8GB version, but for $180. there's amex deals for 10-15% CB, so it might be a tad better at dell

Yes, it is tiny:
Size: L 7" x H 4.375" x W 1.938" (177.8 x 111.13 x 49.23mm)
which might be a benefit for some
