Anyway, I changed my plan to Play More. (I had to have a Customer Care agent do it because I kept getting an error and "Please try again after sometime" after attempting over many hours.)
Given that I "caught" the error early and updated my plan, I hope it doesn't cause an issue. I asked the agent to notate my account.
BFRGL is showing $0 CB for the sixth line (second order)...
Also I didn't receive any email regarding rebates... Trying to sort that out with Verizon

One-time Activation Fee: $20.00
(charge and credit appears on first bill)
Customer Agreement Term: Month-to-Month
I see my first generated bill shows 2 line items for "Activation Fee", first for $40 and second for -$20 and that's where I'm assuming the $20 that's part of the first month's bill is from.
Will that $20 activation fee be credited as part of the second bill to end up with "No Activation Fees" as per what Verizon's site has been and still is advertising for this offer?
If yes, then that clarifies the "Waived activation fee applied as a bill credit w/in 2-3 cycles." in the OP.

The recent eGift rebate offer changed on 5/2020, before it was an actual debit card.
On 6/4/2020 it was changed to $300 from $250 for the higher priced plans. Start Unlimited remained at $250.
Chances are it will be extended 7/1-7/31 but some of the terms may change.
It's possible that the Start Unlimited plan may no longer qualify, but most likely it will for the $250 eGift card, but with the $20/line activation fee.
EDIT:
The current period is 6/4/2020-7/1/2020.
The new period, IF renewed, will be 7/2/2020-7/31/2020.
