Your lines are counted for multi line even if some of them are suspended.

Note: Suspension is only for 90 days and will auto activate back to regular price after 90 days. Not sure if we can suspend again for another 90 days and if yes how many days before re-suspending after first suspension expiry
Thank you, @JollyVolly.

I just found their Suspend service FAQs [verizon.com]with the following.

You can choose this option for a total of 90 days per rolling 12 month period.

Yes, and if that's the case it will work out that the 80 extra dollars a month vs Visible becomes annoying. I am hoping that by the 3rd bill the rebate comes in.
Yes the $115/line Frug rebate should take care of the first few months correct? I believe it arrives pretty quick? I'm trying to get Verizon service for free for 6 months and then hoping for a Tmobile holiday deal where I can trade in my Note 9. Hopefully for $750 or so like previous deals. Not sure those deals are coming back though. My timing may not work out as 6 months will put me into January. May just get Redpocket Holiday deal and go that route if no Tmobile phone deal.

Math looks to be:

$300 (VZ card)X4 lines=$1200
$115 (Frug rebate)X4 lines=$460
Total in rebates-$1660
$190/month (Play more) X6 months=$1140

This math seem correct?

Well I got my first bill. $336! There was $20 per line activation and they didn't apply either the autopay discount (40) or teacher (20). So I am kind of mad.

Yikes! That blows, but should be easily correctable with a phone call. Maybe even chat. Not sure of chat's capabilities though. You should get all applied.

I recall reading some folks reported it's $115 per line?

BFRGL's T&C reads
Quote :
New Service Contracts $115
Each line is a new contract, no?

There are two methods that I know of that does not require any human interaction with Verizon reps to avoid the one-time payment penalty on the auto-pay discount. One is to overpay your bill by dialing #PMT from your Verizon mobile phone and let the extra credit take care of the future bill. Another is to set eGC as your default payment method on the app. Both of these methods are not considered as a one-time payment on the Verizon billing system. I would advise to avoid human interaction with any Verizon reps because most of them are clueless and may do something stupid to your account that may invalid your eGCs or just plain flag your account for suspicious activity. If anyone knows of any other methods, please share them here. hug

So the student basically negates the $10 auto pay discount, as that option disappears when I go through Unidays, and only the teacher or first responder disount would be useful?

As Verizon generated first bill quickly, is there anybody whose first bill correctly reflects the $10/line autopay+paperless discount?

Besides the TWO ways of paying without affecting auto-pay stated in post #12, there is a THIRD way.
It involves suspending the auto-pay payment for ONE month ONLY and make the payment another way like the Verizon eGift card or a debit card.

This THIRD method is that you suspend payment for that month only either thru the Verizon App or by calling in Customer Service and then pay either in your Verizon online account or thru the Verizon App with the eGift Card, etc.
If you call CS they only suspend the monthly payment but you must do the payment yourself online or thru the App.

Your first bill should correctly reflect the $10/line autopay+paperless discount, ONLY IF you enrolled in it when you created the account and BEFORE the 1st bill was generated.
But call CS asap and they should fix it.

The $20 per line activation fee should be credited in your 2nd bill.
For the other discounts call CS and get them fixed, BUT see my comment above about enrolling in them before the 1st bill is generated. If you did, CS should fix them for you.
