Really not a good set of tools. All brushed and on the low end of DeWalts lineup. I bleed black and yellow but this would be a hard pass for me.

don't worry, it's not worth buying at either price.

Read comments from previous deal. All this not buying at this price is nonsense. People have given good feedback there.

I'm not familiar with that Craftsman lineup, but I bought a set similar to this Dewalt one years ago before all the brushless stuff was common and they are still good tools. If you can find brushless for a similar price, by all means get brushless. It is better. However, it all depends on your usage and budget. It's not like these tools don't work or will break right away. I'd price out a brushless set and decide if the extra is worth it to you.

it might be an okay set for you but that is a lot of tools for only 2 small batteries. The circular saw will eat that battery up in no time.

With the sales about to hit for Father's Day I would wait; will these work for your casual needs? Sure.

Is this set worth the price, yes, but Can you get a better deal on much better, faster, more powerful tools within the next 2 weeks? Absolutely.

Lowes has a lot of Dewalt combo sets on sale through July 31st, so wait until the Father's Day sales. You'll be glad ya did.

It really depends. If there is something you want now on sale at a price worth getting then go for it. Waiting for a sale doesn't guarantee the items you want will be at the price you want. Like the current Milwaukee M12 FUEL combo for $199. That's not going to be any cheaper on Father's Day, very likely they'll replace it with something else like a non-FUEL set.
