One of my biggest tech regrets was getting a 768p laptop for schoolwork -- word processing, research, collaborative work, etc. is cramped and lousy (especially on a 15"). Anything less than 1080p is simply not worth it in my opinion.

Its been a while since posted a deal. Just ordered one for my niece who is just starting community college and have basic needs.

Very good spec for the price. I know the display is not 1080P but it serves the purpose.

I ordered one. I also ordered the Lenovo from Best Buy For $329 that has what looks like same specs but AMD Ryzen 3 instead of i3. I think I'm going to keep this one instead.

You can turn S mode off in 2 minutes. Easy to find online.

Ok deal. HD on 15.6" screen is what makes this deal lukewarm. If this was a smaller laptop, say 13.3" or less, the HD resolution would be ok.

Dual core, 720p display, 0.3 MP webcam is meh. Pass.

Probably TN panel too

I still recommend refurb motile 14 at eBay vipoutlet $300. 1080p IPS, 256GB, 8GB RAM, Ryzen 5 quad core 3500u. 2.5lb only. Windows 10.

Don't buy garbage people.

I bought this two days ago and the link on the Microsoft Store to switch out of S mode is broken. Three hours on with MS tech support and they don't know what's going on. If they don't fix it before Walmart's return window closes I'm taking it back. So disappointing.
