There is so much misinformation and confusion in this thread about what this will power. Several people said it wouldn't power the NanoHD -- and it does that too.
As for their "Mesh units", you'll need to be specific because Ubiquiti just named things poorly. ALL of their current APs are meshable. They happened to name one the "Mesh" (AP-AC-M), but they should have just called it the "AP-AC-Outdoor" instead.
In any case, this switch will also power that AC-AC-M (a.k.a. the "AP Mesh").
(It won't power the AP-HD or AP-SHD, but other than that it'll power almost all currently sold consumer Unifi APs.)

It is compatible with their access points. For example FlexHD and NanoHD. I have one of these and this is a good price.
So this one is far outclassed by their 150w model?
Works with both of my NanoHD APs...
This is a good price. I realized I needed another switch after filling this one and wanted to also run a Pi Hole and Lutron hub on my network. Thankfully they have that new $30 UniFi Flex Mini. I'm gonna give that a try. Really wish Ubiquiti would offer a 10-16 port switch that was a little more home network size friendly...
The Switch 8-60w is the PoE version.
They also have a 150w 8 port that has all 8 ports with PoE.

Yeah, i recently got the 60w version too, and it does get quite hot. I had to go to the ubnt forums to make sure it wasn't just me! Is the 150w version significantly cooler?

Also used these in areas where my company likes to "remodel" frequently with cubes to provide POE for their desk phones when there are more desks than wall ports. Non-POE ports are great for network printers in the area too.
