how much is it to get it installed by an electrician?

shouldn't be more than 1-2 hours of work by an electrician. it's too bad it needs to be fed in like this ... very inconvenient (and a bit costly depending on hourly rate).

Lowes has sense rebranded called square d wiser for $239 and $279 for solar version. Same sense app

If you guys have 400A split service (2x200A panels), then buy the one with solar CTs. The solar CTs can be used for the second subpanel.

If your electrician charges $100 an hour... It'd be $200 to install it. Imo, that bumps up the overall cost of the device by a lot.
