Good deal. I have been using one line. Will add another line. New customer only also means that you cannot port in an existing Tello number.

Does Tello support native voice? Or is it VOIP (like Freedompop)?

It's native voice through the Sprint network. They also offer outgoing wifi calling but not incoming WiFi calling.

i got the same deal couple weeks ago, they use sprint signal. stacksocial will give you an active code, make sure when you active your plan in Tello. choice the $14 plan, otherwise system always shows errors.
