While looking at the Back & Yellow HDX Garage Shelfs Home Depot has on sale for $35 this father's day, I saw they have the grey version even cheaper at $29.98 (33% off).
Only difference I can see besides color is the grey is 2" shorter.
Reviews seem really positive too with 4 1/2 stars, 91% recomended.

I'm in Florida and the one I bought 5 yrs ago is still going strong.
I wonder how well this holds up in a hot ass garage like mine.

Just got these at $40 recently. They're solid construction for the cost. Could be a bit wobbly if not weighted correctly on the shelves, but put all the heavy stuff at the bottom and I've had zero issues. They're super light and assembly time is a few minutes. Just picked up two more at this price, totally recommended for cheap shelving.

Is this good for putting plants on it outside?

I live in a desert. My garage gets to about 115 or so. This storage shelf does just fine in that environment. However, putting it in the sun would cut its life expectancy in half at minimum.

Love these shelves, they sit in my garage and hold all my detailing supplies. Can't complain, very easy quick setup

I've had these in a storage locker for a couple years and they've held up fine. Yes, a rubber mallet, maybe a razor knife and some common sense will definitely help in assembling these shelves.
If you don't have those, probably best to pass on these.

Got something similar but steel for $38 during the holidays. Not sure if plastic for $30 is a good price. I'd wait for a better deal
