This was a small trendy brand from California when they started like 10-15 years ago. Back then they've been oriented mostly on tide surfers and skateboarders and were making unusual and unique designers watch pieces and watch straps, like probably a total of 7-8 models.
I have a few Nixson watches from that era and over the years they got many compliments from coworkers and friends. These are all iconic collectibles right now, lol.
Since then other fashion brands and Asian companies started catching up and Nixon' fame faded a bit, but you can still buy a couple of their classic designs like women's Ticket, Base, and Time Tracker.

The quality now is on par with Fossil, Guess, and alike fashion brands, though Nixon still makes higher-end quartz and mechanical pieces but Ashford does not have these.
Ashford's clearance prices are very good and if you like the designs I'd recommend.

I'm tempted to give a thumbs down simply for giving a watch the name "the time teller." Can't wait to also buy a new faucet "the water dispenser" and a new fridge "the food cooler"

the sentry looks pretty nice, but I am unfamiliar with this brand

Be careful with Nixon. The way I understand it, they are not waterproof and actually have a Watergate.

This watch is good for kids, cheap, lightweight and you doesn't care if they will lose or break it. Seriously, no offense but it looks funny if adults wear it.

The watch in the Thumbnail, but all other Nixon Watches are top notch and I would never buy them for my kids.

I own 8 Nixon Watches, now 10. All have been Water Proof when rated for it. If you get the batteries changed somewhere other than Nixon they cant garuntee water proofing.

It was founded in 98. So over 20 years. I'd say the Quality is much better than Fossil and Guess.....
