Note don't trust the on-shelf price Make them ring it up first
So true. I usually fire up the walmart app, scan the UPC and tap local or use the price scanners around the store. I was able to buy one last night for $25. Good luck.
Wow, repped and thanks! I picked up three from my local Walmart, $25 as you indicated! I recently bought the Anker soundcore boost from Amazon when it was on sale last month for $45, and I'm just not thrilled with it. Plus, not sure what happened and if I pushed it too much, but the speaker now has a slight rattle and is being returned for a refund to Anker. Great customer service on their part. I've been eyeballing the flare + because what I read it just sounds like it has a better sound overall being around design, and less directional than the soundcore boost. for $25 this is a steal, and I'll gift the other two or maybe gift one and keep another as a backup. Can't wait to get home and charge it up and give it a listen.
Just finished comparing the Flare+ to my gold standard JBL Charge 2+ and Megaboom 3. The Flare+ is not a bad speaker at all!!! With the bass boost turned on it comes close to the JBL but mids sound a little muddy compared to the JBL. The Flare+ and my Megaboom 3 sound very similar at all frequencies. I also compared it to my 2nd Gen Echo and it did pretty good. The Echo's mids and highs sound better but the Flare+ goes quite a bit deeper. Not sure why I have so many of these things but, for $25.00, the Flare+ gets to stay in my collection. Great deal!!! I also grabbed a regular Flare this morning for $15.00 but haven't opened it yet.
