Good set for the money for homeowners/tinkerers/DIY. The piece count isn't falsely inflated with as much filler junk as many comparable sets. Quality is middle of the road, don't be surprised to bend/break these with hard use, but if you have a HD nearby to use the lifetime warranty and easily swap them out it's not a big deal. The chrome plating can be hit or miss on some pieces, so be sure to keep them oiled so they don't rust as quickly. For $99, I would recommend especially for people getting into basic car/small engine repair and maintenance.
Name a reputable tool company that is made in USA only that the average DIY/home owner can easily afford for small-medium duty work.....
Apart from the wrenches falling out of the top slots, this thing is amazing! Great price for quality tools.

I usually carve out the top panel and add magnets. Much easier to get them in and out.

This sounds like a good idea in theory, but the case seems like it would be flimsy once cut. Any chance you can post or link to an example pic?

I think what was meant is small enough cuts in center of each to lay in a small magnet to help hold the tool in place

I ended up buying the versarack 216 piece a few weeks ago when the husky went out of stock.

I also bought the three tier versarack with dolly plus a dewalt tstak. No problems getting the 216 piece versarack to stack on top of either the tstak or 3 tier versarack.
