Can someone check how touchpad feel little loose when press on the left side.

Center and right side feels ok.

its not visibile loose. It's just sound when pressed on the left side - sound is shrill, thin. On the center and right side - Sounds is deep bass.

May be I'm comparing to MacBook and Spectre side by side..lol.
I have the same issue on my trackpad except it is on the bottom left and bottom right corners that are too flexible. I am debating to return at local store and get a replacement.

I can't find this model or anything close on crucial's website. Any help?
Probably shouldn't change RAM if you can't figure out what RAM to buy arguably the easiest part of changing RAM.

Showing 3200mhz in task manager.
Has anyone actually already upgraded/replaced the RAM? I read somewhere it required torx and was rather difficult to get to the slots but not sure if that article applied to the AMD version.

Thinking of returning the Amazon $600 flex for this but it's a tougher decision as there's no Costco anywhere near me in Buffalo.

Too bad they don't offer an internet-only membership.

Looks like a membership is $60, or just take the 5% hit, is that right?
May I ask, why are you considering returning the Flex? It's the Flex 5 you're speaking of right?

Mine feels symmetric .

I am not planning to use the track pad that much unless I am not at a desk which I would use my wireless mouse.

Also even when I use the touchpad, I don't even use the clicking portion of the touchpad bottom anymore. you can do a left click function with your finger anywhere on the touchpad just by one finger tapping it. you can also do a right click action anywhere on the touchpad by doing a two finger together tap (index and middle finger of the same hand obviously). try it! pretty soon you will forget about ever using the clicking part at the bottom of the touchpad!

All thanks to multitouch and windows 10....lol..

Very cool, I will try it.

My original post - I meant bottom left corner.

I already upgraded the RAM. Hate to take it out again, go back to costco and get it exchange.

Thanks asshat. I've changed memory before, but don't keep up with spec changes that happen all the time. Reading through the thread I've seen several variables I'm not familiar with.

The first step to changing it is finding the best option, no?

I read somewhere where the keyboard is supposed to be backlit but mine has no lights. Is there and if so, how do I activate it?

Press F5.

It swaps between no light, light, dimmer light.

Awesome. You are very helpful.

Earlier in the thread, I saw a post about single rank and dual rank, but I didn't know what that was. When I last changed laptop memory a few years ago, I don't remember that being a thing.

Luckily, you have taught me how to use Google, so I was able to figure out the difference.

It makes this very minor 'static' or 'crackling' noise when plugged in to either the usb-c charger or barrel charger. I found it slightly annoying as I like a perfectly silent office when I'm heads-down working. I've since decided to keep it as my return window expires today and I have yet to find a better deal. It's a good little machine, fast and capable. I'll live w/the charging sound.
