8gb if all you plan on doing is gaming smoothly and absolutely NO multitasking.
16gb have a few chrome tabs open, watch a movie and have semi smooth gaming
32 gb.. Everything mentioned above for 16gb but have smooth gaming all while rendering some sht. Of course it's not gonna take the full 32gb just to do all these, but does make life smoother.

Well, does your motherboard support quad channels memory? It's not exactly a common feature.
Interesting. So why would i have four slots if it doesn't support four channel?
4 let you add more ram cheaper than 2?. 16x4 is way cheaper than 2x32.
For one, so you can add additional memory without having to replace your existing sticks.

the only negative using 4 is that you can't add more sticks in the future if you wanted more ram since you occupy all 4 slots. also, you may have a harder time OCing the ram.
if you're ok with 32GB and you won't change that (32GB is overkill for pretty much everyone anyhow) and the rest of the specs are ok to you then there's no issues going with 4 slots.
agreed! When my girlfriend saw I had all slots filled, she knew I was a keeper!!
Lol..
