Haven't been using wired earphones all that much. Was this ever worth the suggested retail of $200? If it is a mind blowing product, I'd be willing to give it a short at one fifth the price. I know it's a greedy deal seeking mentality and that's why I am here.

I bought these from a similar sale a free months ago. They work well and sound better than the cheapo sonys I was using before. I don't really use the ANC, but there is a switch on the little box that turns it off and on. It's changes via micro USB, but doesn't require a charge for the Headphones to work in the normal mode. I really like these and they were fantastic for the cost--very high quality.

I actually also purchased the best AKG 40 earbuds, which sound better than these, but I don't really like how they fit in and above your ears. You can't go wrong with these earbuds.

They are the "N40" model and here is my total cost. Sorry for the delayed response. These ones are really nice. The only thing you have to get used to, is that they're designed to wrap around your ear for support. you don't have to do that, but its how they're meant to be worn. There's a little tubular discount close by the drivers so if you pull too hard the cord will pop out. I like both models, and have been using the cheaper ones as they fill a bit more durable. The noise cancellation was actually helpful and i used it today when construction workers were tearing up the sidewalks outside of my house. Didn't block everything out, but it gives a good "white noise" floor to block a lot of sound out.

They do have a microphone and a little switch on the element/box that has volume control as well to switch between android and ios. I recommend these ear buds, and for the price its a steal. I actually don't understand why they keep putting them on sale as they're solid performers and way cheaper than any of the Shure/Bose/Sennheiser comparable models.
