I've purchased about 7 Deebots and returned 5 of them. Quality Control is not their specialty. When it works, it is an extremely valuable product.
Yes these are the guys who started woot.com... sold that to Amazon and started meh.com

How do these compare to the Neato Robotics XV series which had a similar look and similar price before they changed to their newer "botvacs"? I still use an old XV-15 model with upgraded "pet brush" and replacement lithium battery which runs significantly longer than original nimh one's. I also have replaced the dust bin with one 3D printed from thingiverse(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1799554) that significantly improves the vacuum quality and uses roomba hepa filters which do a much better job. The airflow coming out the back is much stronger now indicating better suction. It has no phone integration but it's scheduled to clean on Wed and Sat arround time i wake up so I can rescue it should it get lost in a corner. The dust bins are to small on these things but if you run it regularly it won't be that bad. Mine typically has to go back to the charger to recharge once when cleaning the whole house and I'll take the opportunity to empty it's dust bin then as well as when it finishes the job. This avoids it getting full and wandering around accomplishing nothing.

Uh, I just bought this from Costco for $249!

Just set it up a couple days ago and so far it's working great.

Dangit I think I have to return it and buy it from here.

Great price but unless you have a really simple clean room layout I can't imagine getting a robo vac without mapping.

I have several no go zones in my house without which the thing would get stuck almost every time.

Bought a eufy 2 years ago, then bought an ecovacs....i now own 3 different models of ecovacs. And i disagree with the post above about mapping features, the random modes works for 2 out of our 3 floors. Ymmv i guess

What if what I love to do is beat on floor cleaning robots with a broomstick? Wink

I can confirm this. It will repeatedly tell you to put it's dirt bin back in.

I purchased DEEBOT 920 from Costco a few weeks ago for $399 (with $100 coupon). I like the unit so far, and it has the mapping feature that the 601 doesn't. I may buy one for my in-laws since their unit has very simple floor plan and does not require mapping. Thank you for posting this!
