I found this 15 -Amp 10 in. Corded Dual-Bevel Sliding Miter Saw with 70° Miter Capacity on clearance at my local Home Depot in North Irving, TX for $308.00. I believe I took the last one there. When I looked on the Home Depot website it still shows $384.00 but unavailable within a 100-mile radius. However, when I checked Brick Seek there were two stores near me that had some availability,

Rigid saws have HUGE quality control issues. Google rigid saw wobble and you will see.

Thank you. I was not aware of that. One review mentioned it but i assumed it was a one-off deal.

This applies to one generation of 12in saws. I don't recall any complaints about the 10in model.

I saw this too in Plano, TX the other day and picked one up. Brick seek shows price as "clearance". Needed a new miter saw and surprised to not find any on sale for fday. Reviews I saw stated blade wobble was for 12"ers and was fixed before this model came out a couple years ago. Haven't unboxed it yet but I like the 70 degree cut capability and the 6" baseboard against fence cut capability. I'm about to do baseboards throughout the house so main reason I bought it. Most 10"ers only do 3.5" baseboard against fence and alot of the 12"ers don't even go to 6! Those features along with the LSA make it a no brainer for me!

Get the Hercules 12" double compound sliding for $30 more (with coupon) instead of this.

Assuming you don't need the smaller footprint of a 10".

My understanding was the 10" sass are flawless. The 12" saws are the problem.
