Anyone getting an error message when they try to reserve a line?

So as an existing customer, you can add one free line. Once your BYOD free lines end on 6/30, you will pay the regular price for those 2 lines on Sprint, and you will just get a 3rd line free.

If you are currently paying for 2 lines, then you can add a 3rd line free.

And I believe you have to pay taxes for the free line, like on the Sprint free 1 year plan.

Yes, I also tried reserving a line and got the following error:
Oh no! It's seems there are no more compatible plans for this phone. Please try different IMEI number or shop our wide selections of phones.

I have a single line with Unlimited Kickstart v3 $35 plan with a phone I purchased in full from sprint. Logged into my account. Clicked the link on slickdeals. Figured I will select Reserve a free line now and add a phone later. And I get the following message in red:

"Oh no! It's seems there are no more compatible plans for this phone. Please try different IMEI number or shop our wide selections of phones"

I don't have a spare phone currently but I thought I can choose this option to reserve a free line and add a phone later like sprint's page described...

I did read a comment in this thread saying the $35 kickstat v3 plan doesn't qualify for this deal...

i am on the phone with sprint now, this is a targeted offer. so that is why many of us are still seeing the monthly charge at checkout.

At some point TMobile will force you to a 'new' plan.
Seems like this deal is loaded with so many "gotchas" that anything you need to adjust will invalidate the free line. I think it's intended to keep you from jumping ship in the short term but in reality you'll easily lose the free line sooner or later.

So I talked to 2 different customer service representatives and they both said that the 35 dollars monthly will be waived every month. I'm not sure if that's true but I'll find out next bill cycle. The reps said basically I have nothing to worry about. So if you get the offer and proceed with it and it still tells you 35/monthly you are better off making sure you talk to a rep cuz this deal seems to be targeted from what other people have been saying.
ALWAYS take whatever a customer service representative from a mobile company tells you with a HUGE grain of salt. 50/50 chance they are making it up or otherwise not giving correct information and you'll get burned later. I always insist they back it up in writing with an email or link.

Exactly! I got the transcripts from 2 different reps. If they try to tell me otherwise, I'm cancelling the "free" line

No. You have to maintain your existing lines for one year.

So if you look on the account dashboard on the devices page, there is a tab for MISC. My reservation was listed.
Thanks. I see they have even reserved a virtual temporary number for the free line. I'm hoping I can port in an existing line from elsewhere to use instead. One interesting note, it says "3G Provisioning".

So it's letting me pick the reserve a line option but I'm scared it will affect my current plan. I have two unlimited lines that I got under the bring your own device plan back in 2017. They are unlimited with 1080P streaming. I also get a $5 discount per line from my employer. If I add this line, it says it has 480p streaming. Will adding this line modify my currently excellent deal in any way?

That's actually the reason you would want to do it. Historically Sprint coverage hasn't been great...now Sprint customers will have access to the combined Sprint/T-Mobile network which should be quite good.
