A10e is not anywhere close to as good as S8: https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.ph...hone2=8161

The LG K51 is $8 more but the specs look better. More RAM, better camera, etc. How does the K51 compare to the A10e?

Sure Samsung isn't under CCP but wait , but it's under President Park Geun-hye who sacrificed 300 children life which turned out to be part of some Korean Cults just saying Big Grin

Yeah I noticed that as well. I was torn myself. The LG did look slightly better on paper but I just ended up getting the Samsung because it seemed like I'd be able to update to android 10 sooner. Didn't really look into it thoroughly but that's what I did.

The screen resolution is only slightly over 720p.

Resource consumption on Android 9/10 adapts well and even moreso if you don't load it up with apps that have permission to start whenever in the background.

2GB will be fine for people who know the expectations of a $70 phone and even better for a younger audience, since they probably won't be able to run all these vapid apps like Snapchat or TikTok.

You might want to put it into airplane mode first then turn in WiFi but I don't see why not.

If you are looking for a backup phone it should be ok, however, for everyday use, even as a WIFI device, this will not serve you well. Mine gets lag and is pretty slow on almost every apps. I rather spend a little more or get a Moto G6 or Moto G7, unless you care about "shiny" Samsung brand or "Chinese Auto Spies" like the original poster.
