IT IS NOT scientific to test qualified KN95 masks by pouring water into them. The dripping test is just a rumor. Firstly, water will destroy the protection ability of the melt blown filtering layer, that means: Water will destroy the effectiveness of the face mask; Secondly, too much water has weight (universal force[Laugh]) , so too much water will drip. Also, : The first layer of nonwoven material can let O2 (= oxygen ) pass through the face mask. That is why, the 1st Layer of face mask cannot 100% block water, especially when there is too much (for example, a cup of Water , too much water !!) pour in the face mask. This is not a scientific test and should not be used. The one they sell at the local China market has 5 layers as well as the MIT CDC tested one.
Can't believe they pull something like this.
KF94 standard is good if you can find a legit supplier which is hard to find a legit one and there are counterfeit of KF94 by the Chinese manufacturers.
Watch out for Taiwanese face mask (N95, medical, surgical grade,) Taiwan just relax their export ban on face mask. And hopefully we can see em soon.
Another Chinese Brand to check out, Energy Fortress.
About Harley, I got some from color shield, but 3 out of 10 had welding issue. Their earloops were just loosely touched on masks.
I haven't done any researches on KF94 and not sure if all KF94 are with equally good or acceptable qualites.

I checked before online at Jing Dong, China's version of Amazon, and in Powecome KN95 page, it clearly said 4 layers. It's for local market, not for export.

I suppose I could email Powecom directly and ask them how many layers their masks have. I read through all 3 of the CDC reports (Chinese lettering and English were both tested separately and have different reports, one even has the May batch with QR code) for these masks and did not see any cross section images or mention of # of layers.

Under test results you can see 3 separate batches of Powecom with 3 separate reports.
Hopefully the 5 layer ones are not counterfeit Powecom. Did they come with the QR code to verify authenticity?
Will report back on what Powecom says on # of layers.

I have never bought the English version of the Powecom Kn95 so I would know.
But I do noticed that when the Chinese version Powecom Kn95 sold out on discount, the English version always has stock.

It has a picture of the mask with chinese characters on it.
That's the one I have tested myself and did research with (in a quick and dirty way, not as scientific as the MIT CDC test of course as I don't have those test equipment and materials.)
I would still buy the BYD 20 bucks/ 50 masks or this Powecom KN95 till we have 3M, SAS, Honeywell, Kimberly Clark supply.
Suggestion: anyone can do these tests yourself:
waterproof testing the outer non-woven layer,
candle-blow test for leakage,
burning of the melt-blown/ static testing the polypropylene layer
and the laser pointer test if there are any hole for the polypropylene layer.

The masks in your screenshot don't look like Powecom's typical green theme KN95. Also there's no carbon layer in their regular KN95 masks. Majority of masks I have are China version and they have 4 layers.

May be Powecom has changed to 4 layers but I haven't seen it in the Chinese local version.
BTW, a Ton (literally) of kn95 grade polypropylene (the middle layer material) still sell for a few hundred thousands Yuan (chinese currency 7.2 to 1 USD)
while the below 80% filtration rated polypropylene has become junk and nobody want it even in the Chinese market.

I also have Powecom masks purchased from the Back to Normal site (early May batch, English packaging, no anti-fake labels yet), and the layers are pretty much identical.
My order from Bonafide will arrive this week, so I'll cut one up after I've had a chance to use one.
They all have 5 layers as long as it is the Chinese version.
I have never bought the English version of the Powecom Kn95 so I would know.
But I do noticed that when the Chinese version Powecom Kn95 sold out on discount, the English version always has stock.
