IT IS NOT scientific to test qualified KN95 masks by pouring water into them. The dripping test is just a rumor. Firstly, water will destroy the protection ability of the melt blown filtering layer, that means: Water will destroy the effectiveness of the face mask; Secondly, too much water has weight (universal force[Laugh]) , so too much water will drip. Also, : The first layer of nonwoven material can let O2 (= oxygen ) pass through the face mask. That is why, the 1st Layer of face mask cannot 100% block water, especially when there is too much (for example, a cup of Water , too much water !!) pour in the face mask. This is not a scientific test and should not be used. After I took the masks off, their was a much greater scent of the smell and my mask smelt of it as well. I tired the candle blow test with this mask and the Snowjoes and both couldn't blow out the flame.
Also is their any type of medical tape or sports tape anyone can recommend? These masks only sealed when taped above the eyes wear the nose pieces curves, I suppose that's why Canada recalled them. I preordered the headband style already.
I wonder how risky it is to take off my mask and not breathe for the 5 seconds they have to take my picture. I'm really nervous.

I also noticed the powecom website doesn't use a certificate (not secure) but maybe that is common on non-ordering sites by China.

Here's a long review of the Powecom ear loop style vs a 3M headband style.
Note: the "3M" KN95 (9502+) I have was given to me by someone who purchased it after the pandemic started so I have no clue if it's genuine or not.
Summary:
These seal decently but not perfectly. I'm unsure if they don't seal perfectly because they're smaller than the 3M or because of the disadvantages of ear loops.
Size:
The Powecoms are slightly smaller than the 3M in both length (top/nose to bottom/chin) and width (cheeck to chreck). This provides less of a border area to lay flat against the skin and seal and it does in fact feel a tiny bit smaller than is ideal. I'm kinda small at 5'6", 155 lbs.
Seal:
The Powecoms won't maintain a perfect seal for me. I tested the seal by feeling for exhalation around the edges with my fingers and by shaking a cup of stevia (an incredibly potent powdered sweetener) in front of my face. If I could taste the stevia, it wasn't perfectly sealed. I know the Powecom material can filter out stevia cause if I use my hands to hold down all the edges of the mask, I never taste the stevia.
I can initially get a very good seal but not perfect - there's the slightest hint of stevia. BUT as I talk, the mask gets pulled down my nose a bit each time my jaw moves until it reaches a certain level on my nose. This breaks the seal and it gets quite leaky on the top.
If I wear my glasses, they seem to mostly counteract this leak and keep the top sealed but I still get that original hint of stevia.
Throughout all of this, the mask stays "sealed" enough that it expands as I exhale and slightly collapses as I inhale.
I don't know if it rides down my nose cause it's smaller than the 3M or cause it's less pressure than the 3M headbands, and/or cause the headbands are placed so one is high on my head and the other is at the nape of my neck which allow for the pressure to be applied in different ways than the ear loops that can only pull in one directions.
The 3M doesn't move at all and never loses it's seal - I never taste stevia no matter how much I talk or move my head. It's a perfect seal.
The Powecom feels like the edges are sealed against my skin with just the slightest pressure whereas the 3M has a lot of pressure from the headbands and really pushes tightly all along the edges where it seals nicely and just feels completely secure.
What about using ear savers to make the ear bands tighter?
The ear saver slides down to the nape of the neck so to counteract that you still have to place the top of the ear loop on the top side of the ear and then the downward slide of the ear saver counterintuitively makes the ear loops apply more pressure to the ear than the loop does without the ear saver. Because of this, I don't think I could wear it for more than 30 minutes. The 3M headbands are comfortable for hours on end.
It does make the edges seem to fit against my skin tighter but it does nothing to counteract the mask from still sliding down the nose as I talk and leaking. I don't know if this is just cause the ear saver wants to slide down, or because it's missing the advantage of the two headbands pulling in to different directions, or if the mask is just too small and therefore even the Powecom head band mask would still have this problem.
Breathability:
They're both feel about the same and are pretty comfortable. I have worn the 3M for 3 hours straight multiple times - it gets a bit uncomfortable but I don't have a problem just pushing through it. Based on my experience with other people though, I think I'm less sensitive than average to mask discomfort.
Anti-counterfeit sticker:
I scanned the QR code on the sticker and it opened the Play Store and wanted to install WeChat. I tried again and got the same result. I never let it install.
I went directly to Powecoms website and saw you can type in a code from the sticker on there. It said it was valid but then displayed a version of sticker where the numbers were shown in a different colored pattern than my sticker showed. They never said the color pattern would match but it does seem like it would be one of the features.
