I had pre-ordered which just got a delivery date of 7/10/20. I ended up canceling that order and reordering with a delivery date of 6/23/20, which is total BS because Amazon should be filling the pre-orders instead of selling what they have in stock. I will never pre-order anything from Amazon again.

Vizio's new offerings are slated to hit 6/30 according to their site. I would recommend that anyone looking to upgrade wait a couple weeks to see what their price points are and how the market reacts. The new Vizio lineup looks better than the new Hisense lineup on paper.

Not according to FOMO, so I wouldn't hold your breath on that release date....

Almost hit order but I'm going to wait for some reviews. The H8G review on Rtings wasn't that terrific (Just kind of average) and Digital Trends on youtube had some tech issues with the first H8G that they were sent, so worried a bit about quality control. This all has me pausing, although the H9G looks great on paper and the most "non-expert" reviews have been very good.

Maybe when Best Buy gets it in because then you can return it to B&M instead of shipping it back if there are issues.

I already have a 65H9F and the pic is fantastic. The specs show an upgrade in this year's model, so I would expect it perform at least as good as last year's.....and the reviews from people who already got the 65H9G are very good.

I would hope so. HDMI 2.1 would be nice too so I don't have to buy a new TV for next five years or so. I know 2.1 won't realistically matter for another year or so, but would be good future proofing.

I would trust their own site over some random youtuber.

Interesting that they are calling them the 2021 models when they are releasing them in mid 2020?....and now that link isn't even working....I agree with FOMO, their new models (2021) probably won't come out until the 4th quarter at the earliest.

Your video is outdated. It was clarified after they changed it to 2021 that 2021 was just the model year. Vizio updated their website 2 days ago stating the 2021 models launch on 6/30/20.

The link no longer works because they moved the information to their front page and deleted the 2020 page, as 2020 products no longer exist.

The product line may be staggered, but if you can't wait 2 weeks to see what's said on 6/30, I can't help you. The Hisense is still going to be there in 2 weeks. Depending on what happens, you may even see a sale on the Hisense when the Vizios launch.

The H9G has more dimming zones (up to 132 vs up to 90), gets brighter (1000 nits vs 700), and has a 120Hz panel (versus 60Hz).

OK....if you say so....we will see come 7/1/20. Like I said before, it's interesting they are making them the 2021 model in mid 2020...nobody else is doing that.

2021 cars are already starting to roll out, what's your point? They probably don't plan on a refresh until late 2021 due to Covid, so they're marketing the old 2020 line as 2021 so it doesn't sound outdated when others are rolling out 2021s. It's just marketing.
