You don't want this, period. Samsung's an asshole and they changed the naming scheme to deceive people, such that this Q90 is actually a 2019 Q80. Except, they kept the 2019 Q90 pricing

Lol. It's not super complicated to figure out. You should also check reviews since 90T is getting a lot better reviews over the 90R. Seems like a good deal if someone is in the market,...

Agreed. Q90T is just superior overall. Number of dining zones is not everything about a tv. Q90T has better skin tone mapping, less black crash, better game mode local dimming, better upscaling, better viewing angle, better black level, HDMI 2.1, eArc, better motion handing and the list goes on. I could care less about 480 dimming zones. Heck oifdining zones was everything, I would just buy Vizio.

Probably the best 4k tv (non Oled) you can buy, especially if you're a gamer. Not sure their naming tactics, however confusing, should stop folks from owning it.

The knock is that it doesn't have Dolby vision. Is that still the case? If so, it's not a minor con in my opinion.

However, is this the same model? They have QN55Q90TAF and not QN55Q90TAFXZA
