You can save $70 by opting out of the electric start and getting the cheaper version. But I chose to be able to start/stop the unit while still inside the RV/camper.

Not easily, it's gravity fed, no fuel pump.

Picked mine up yesterday. Build date was 04/2018. Expect a dead battery. Otherwise arrived early and in good shape.

Champion is a solid brand. Nothing but good things to say about my 2000/1700 Home Depot unit. Having said that I'd rather have 2x 2000/1700 watt units in parellel. You have an extra 10% usable watts and nice portability on the go when one 2000/1700 unit will handle your needs.

You just have to wait for a $300 - $350 ea. sale on the 2000/1700 unit which will happen. Those less physically inclined stick with this 3150 watt unit for the wheels and I suppose the electric start if you keep up with the battery charge.

The non electric start model comes up for $599 for me in So. Cal.
