I think you need to go to a branch for this. If not can you please point me to the right link? I have not taken advantage of this because there is no Chase near me.

Yep, 100% legit. My first visit to a local BB&T branch was over 30 years ago. They're got a substantial presence in the southeastern US.

I did just notice on their website that BB&T is in the process of merging with Suntrust and is now "Truist." I don't like it and they may not still be the BB&T I remember. Probably wouldn't bite on this. Especially since there might be some records/technical issues during the merger.
