A lot of people will recommend Wyze over anything else because Amazon requires monthly subscription while Wyze doesn't. but I am not too happy with wyze's picture quality, it's very fuzzy unless subject is very near. They must be using a very small sensor in wyze cams. They are great otherwise. To get anywhere near Wyze functionality you have to pay $10/mo additional to Amazon. Also you can chain link Wyze cams, and they have SD slots.

In my experience, I made a deliberate switch from Cloud Cam to Wyze. I agree, it's a slight downgrade in video quality, but literally everything else is better: features, cost, support, storage options, etc. We have been extremely happy with our Wyze, and I can't recommend them enough.

some things to note about wyze vs cloud cam: wyze will NOT notify you if your camera is offline. cloud cam does. another thing about wyze is that it seems to stop recording motion events to the cloud if you are generating a lot of alerts (like pointing it out the window where cars pass by every 10 minutes). possibly a bug, but i still experience it a lot.

It's nice, long cord and has infared spots built into the bezel. Read the fine print but the one I got came with 4 days of record logs, you do have to pay for the full 30 days though, probz wat the guy above is tryna invegle.

I have this and a Samsung S20 phone...here are the issues I'm having:

1) It's unreliable. Live view rarely works on the app
2) Uses mobile data exclusively, even if WiFi is turned on
3) App often crashes soon after launching since the latest update.

Because this cam is discontinued, they likely won't be fixing any of these bugs. I'd advise against this one and just grab a Wyze for the same price.

I have 2 wyze cams.. The one looking to the street is indoor and near us.... I don't like that it hears everything so i disconnected it and left it there as crime deterrent.
I also have a real adt sticker in the door i bought in ebay for 7dlls. So far so good (4years).
If I'm on vacation i turn on the camera.
As a review for the Wyze... I think it is extremely good and would buy it again. App is good too

I've had this camera for two years and love it. It is not compatible with Ring but i prefer its interface then the ring app. I've never paid for a subscription for it and i can view clips from a days previous with no issue. The only reason I've never purchased a second was because I'm a true slickdealer and didn't want to pay full price. I'll grab one of these today at this price.
