Target has the Camp Chef Smoke Pro DLX 24 pellet grill in stainless steel back in stock. This model has the updated PID controller. Shipping is free. Just in time for independence day.
This doesn't seem to be a sale. I believe this is targets everyday price.
You're right, but Target's price of 449.99 is lower than any other retailer and you know you're getting the Gen 2 controller. 5% Redcard, if you have it, applies as well. Plus just finding this in stock at Target has been difficult.
Good price compared to Amazon (where I've been watching this grill). The bronze version there (they don't seem to have the stainless) is 499.99 with the Gen 2 controller. 4.4 stars on 927 reviews.
Target at $450 - 5% is about 427.50, a good 15% cheaper than Amazon.
Anyone know if you can get the sear burner (Amazon link[amazon.com]) anywhere for less than $200? That's the combo I want: DLX 24 with side sear burner.
Ahh man I don't know if I should get this one or hold out for a deal on the Woodwind 24 Wifi
This is a good price bc it has the Gen2 controller. You can get it with the old controller for $400 at dicks quite often, but the Gen2 is worth the extra $50 even if it's not the WiFi.

I just started looking at these pellet grill/smokers recently. Is there much difference than WiFi in this series vs woodwind WiFi. I've been eyeing the larger woodwind WiFi myself. To make smoking brisket and shoulder overnight a little easier and quicker cleanup than my WSM smoker.
I got this from the last Target deal, absolutely love mine after 1st use. I didn't think i would use it all that much but i was wrong. Set the temp and forget it.

I'm going to research and I'll get back to you on the differences

I know that the woodwind also has a nice controller with a cover. But if your looking for wifi check out the Camp Chef PG24SWC (sportsmans warehouse version) with the window also is slide and grill. If it ever comes back in stock though.

So the differences I see (DLX vs Woodwind) 1 meat probe vs 4, 550 cooking area vs 800+, no WiFi vs WiFi, no slide and sear vs slide and sear feature.
I would have been all over this if it wasn't for the masterbuilt gravity 1050.... humm maybe i can have both
Right there with you. Was considering the Camp Chef for a long time until the MB560 came out (Don't need the 1050 since I don't need that much space) . Now I'm not even remotely interested in a pellet grill. The charcoal hopper system seems to be the best all-purpose grill/smoker.

So In my opinion I may hold out for the woodwind.
