Followed the link. Definitely looks like a Makita quality design. To slow it down a lil you could try using a rheostat. Something like this......

First purchased the Metabo version and it was terrible as it kept overheating...alot. Bought the Bosch version and it is a great tool. Highly recommended to cut stainless, mild steel, and even brick in a pinch.
