Not for driveways as advertised, but alright for walkways. It is a stain and as such, needs to be able to soak into wood; preferably clean, bare wood. If it cannot soak in because of prior paint, solid stains, etc., you will probably be disappointed. The plus is water cleanup, dries fast and works in most pump up sprayers. On sale at half price, you might consider a second coat if it will soak in, because there is no UV protection. That way, it will certainly last a year or so.
More expensive, but for most applications many still prefer Thompson's water seal [lowes.com] that is solvent based with UV protection that lasts a lot longer..... and has had years of track record with how to and what not to do.
Each has it's purpose and we use this Olympic product when on sale for cheap protection on plywood's that may get rain before covered.
