Western Digital [westerndigital.com] has the WD Elements 14TB External HDD on sale for $279.99 w/ free shipping. Plex Pass users can use their Plex Perks [plex.tv] to get a unique 15% off code, which can be combined with WD's Education and Senior Discount [westerndigital.com] for an additional 10% off. This brings the total to $209.99 + tax.

This Plex Perk is only valid for the United States and can only be used once for up to 5 items. The Education and Senior Discount requires either a valid .edu email address or proof of age.

It may be possible to substitute the Education and Senior Discount with WD's newsletter signup 10% off code. I have not tested this option.

You can use the newsletter code for 10% but the plex perks code is only good for 10% off these drives bringing subtotal to $224/ea.

Good deal. In for 5 at $209+tax each.

Not going to wait for a Best Buy deal to come back at $200. Needed to finish out my other smaller 4 disk array and get a spare.

Used CBM for 7% back and 2.25% effectively on Chase/CSR.

Man, finally, we're to 14TB now. Can't wait to raid 20TB HDD once we get there at a reasonable price!

I get a "no vouchers left" when trying to sign up and verify my student coupon with my .edu email. Any suggestions?

Figured out the EDU portion. Just go ahead and shop and create a WD account too.
Discount will reflect in cart then.

But... I'm seeing discount as:
$279.99 - 10% senior / student = $251.99
Plex discount is:

"15% off MSRP for WD Cloud Storage / NAS - EX2 Ultra, EX4100, PR2100, and PR4100 and/Or 10% off of $100+ for the rest of the site
15% off MSRP for WD Cloud Storage / NAS – EX2 Ultra, EX4100, PR2100, and PR4100 only and/Or 10% off of $100+ for the rest of the site. The discounts will be based on MSRP."

Looks like Plex is taking 10% off MSRP ? I'm seeing total of $226.79
pre tax and shipping. So not sure how to get $210

FOR EDU DISCOUNT

I was able to be successful by going directly to https://www.youthdiscount.com/, logging in (if you need to create using your .edu to verify student status, whatever), and finding the WD partner code on that website. So I used plex pass 15% code from plex.tv, received a voucher code directly on the website of youthdiscount and plugged that in, and each HDD ended up costing me (as long as I do my math right... subtract the tax.... carry the 4....) about $215.

Thanks OP! Took a little bit of a roundabout, but I'm able to replace MANY 3 and 6 TB hard drives for a cleaner install, and maybe one day buy a smaller computer case!!!

On the youthdiscount site look up "Western Digital GB" discount. Get code and goto site, then simply switch to US store by clicking on the flag in the top right corner. Code still worked on us store and I got drive for $209 plus tax!

Just to clarify, the subtotal before tax is actually $214.19, not $209.99 (still a pretty good deal, don't think we'll see sales for this price anytime soon). From my experience when I bought the drive, Western Digital first took off the 10% discount (became $251.99), then took off the 15% discount (brings it down to $214.19). This is how my cart looked after the discounts:
