Not trying to thread crap, but I usually look for $1 per pound if we're talking about "slick deals." Obviously with home gyms all the rage the last few months, prices go up. But my two cents - the secondary market is going to be flooded as gyms open back up and people start selling their home equipment. I'd wait for that if you're looking for a deal.

While you are 100% correct, going on for a long period without exercise isn't ideal. It takes a lot of time and effort to put on muscle but only days to lose your progress. I've been doing body weight exercises but there are some exercises that simply require a set of dumbbells. And it can be difficult to get back into a work out regiment if you're out of it for while... especially if it's been months like it has been in IL. Not to mention, even if they do reopen everything, I'm not going back in a gym unless I have to.

I ordered the 20lb dumbbells that are out of stock but will ship when available. I doubt they will ever ship but...

totally agree. in a year or so, people will be unloading gym equipment, bikes, etc. that they bought..used a few times. bikes especially.
