Step 2: Leave cupcakes on countertop for 3 days
Step 3: Eat stale cupcakes with crusty frosting

This is a newer recipe. I ordered the last time they had this deal and it wasn't even edible. Imo, stick with the Pillsbury or Betty Crocker frosting.

Listen, I know we're all staying at home all day and indulging, but this is a bit much for me..

LMAO

Good deal if you'll use it, and you like the product. Not sure when it expires, or would be good for group gingerbread house building in winter. Thumbs up for price.

Srs question:

Anyone remember as a kid getting cupcakes at birthday parties and rather than the frosting being creamy and soft (like today's kids) it often had a slightly crust edge and tastes sugary?

Can anyone tell me how to make or buy that kind of frosting like "80s frosting"

That was most likely a butter cream derivative... Check this out https://www.keyingredient.com/rec...eam-icing/
