When you say weak, do you mean that it isn't even enough to get the motor to turn over? I tried one of these on my Lexus RX300 and it started up, cranked once and died. Is that an issue with the power/amperage of the pack or the state of my car battery? TIA.
You need a certain amount of cold cranking amps to get a motor to turn over. If you have a motor that has FAT cylinders and plenty of em, you'll need more power (amps) to get that done. The battery itself is also probably farked from being left in a bad state so many times. Cells degrade as you abuse them. Which also entirely depends on the quality of battery that you have.

This battery jump starter is weak. It's not strong enough to jump start car with group 24/35 battery such as a Toyota Sienna, Subaru Outback...good enough maybe to jump start Nissan Cube.

It was perfectly able to start a Nissan Rogue that has a size 35 battery.

I've always wondered about the safety of leaving these things in a car in Florida (or even higher temp areas like AZ). At the least, I would think the heat would be very bad for the life of the battery. At the worst, fire or outright explosion. It just doesn't feel safe to leave lithiums in extreme heat.

I have had this one for over a year now. Still works great.
Is there a way to plug in 12V "cigarette lighter" style accessories into this battery? (even if it means just putting the clamp on the terminals of the accessory, does it provide a connection?)

Nope. Spend a little more and get something with at least 1000A-1500A start up capacity.

Florida man here... I tired this stunt 2 years ago for a few weeks with a pack of Anker Li rechargeable (Not intentional I forgot about them)..Outdoor temperatures were in the range of 87-96. While the pack didn't explode or swell up that I could see, they never held charge the same way. I still wouldn't recommend it.

No its not. I used mines a few times on my Toyota Sequoia V8 SUV ( only drive once or twice a month on long trips ) and its still works like brand new afterwards. Do your research first before commenting on something you have no clue about!

My 8 cylinder beast would laugh at this. I picked up the monstrously heavy 1200 peak amp Schumacher for $70 on clearance at Lowes a couple of weeks ago.

These lithium things only assist in starting batteries that still have some reasonable charge, not drained ones,

If your battery is completely drained... I think its time to replace to a new battery at that point.... this item is meant as a backup in case of forgotten dome, interior light, etc being turned off situations...

My ex left the interior light on for days in my 8-cylinder Firebird with a reasonably new battery. This weak unit obviously wouldn't do a thing. My cheap 1000 Stanley peak unit started it within seconds.

These are battery boosters, not jump starters.

Sounds like you don't own one of these units base on how you stated it....

very weak. I bought one. I charged it fully. When I jump started the car, it doesn't work. I bought another one. I thought I bought the defective one. It's same thing. It doesn't work. I didn't try the third time.

It sounds like you have never experienced an exhausted battery. See the post right after yours.
