Memory is listed as "onboard" which I assume means soldered?

Yep. From what I can tell all current 13" x360 feature soldered memory. Oh well.

So many Ryzen 4000 series laptop with just 8gb soldered memory with no way to upgrade. This is getting annoying!

My Samsung Note 10+ has 12GB RAM. I know it may be enough for some people, but c'mon guys, at least let us install another stick of RAM if you decide to sell a laptop with just 8GB, Also, since this laptop doesn't have discrete graphics, a big chunk of that 8GB will be eaten up by graphics.

I can understand 8GB soldered on the lowest end machines (4300U), but the 4700U/4800U models should come with at least 16GB.

Exactly... It doesn't even cost them $50 to up to 16GB and I'd happily pay but they'd rather create more landfill...

So I return the 15.6 and got this, man this thing is nice but runs crazy hot. Every time it boost it blast through 90C. Only way I can keep it under control is disabling boost which keeps it steady at 63C during Dota 2, surprisingly got 60-70 fps on 1080 100% render but disabling everything. Vulkan runs better on Linux than OpenGL for this machine.

Guess I'll need a 14" with better cooling cause this temperature is kind of nuts. I mean sitting here doing nothing but typing this reply and it's 45C in Linux which has already been tuned.
