Anyone trying to build a system with B550 MB knows the frustration of not finding one, especially if its mITX board. Been waiting for any 450, 550, 570 mITX to show up which wasn't marked up 50-100%

this isn't a slickdeal, just heads up to members that Newegg has it in stock. Go ahead and thumbs down.

https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-b...6813145222

one of the more reasonably priced B550 boards.
supports 3 gen amd, pcie 4 (heat sync on front). good thermals for mITX. RGB. USB 3.2 Type C . 8 phase VRM. 2 x hdmi

sadly no, 10gig lan. ugly shark fin wifi. comes with CD set up for some reason

CPU socket type is AM4 for others curious without clicking and not familiar with the B550I platform like myself. I take it that is a common fact for those in the know.

OP, I am trying to be polite as I can, and not sound whiney. I had no idea from my email (shows title only) this was a mobo at all, let alone an AM4. It might help others to add Socket AM4 Motherboard into the title. Thank you for posting and reps!

I'm looking to build a gaming pc, I didn't realize how everything is hard to get now and haven't considered even considered mitx, any draws backs vs a regular itx setup.

I have everything but Mobo and ordered 2 from amazon and the first one got delivered. It took 20 days to get this one.

Severe shortages of Mobo's, Power supplies for sure...

B550M-A, 3800X, 32GB, 850 watts PS, M.2 (SN750) and 1TB ADATA SSD with Radeon RX 580. No CPU cooler will use the Wraith one, and will see if needed.

Is the 580 good for 1440p? I am going with 2060 because of 1440p. I know it can do 1080p solid @ 60fps

Wow; can't believe this item is in stock. This motherboard was sold-out on day 1 of pre-order. In other words, this is the first time it's in stock and available. This motherboard will not last long, since some folks might buy to resell on Ebay for profit.

Has 2.5gb ethernet

When the "budget" offering has more than my X570 itx variant. Real nice.

This happens when stock is low or products are new, availability can be seen as value-added for some people even though it's MSRP.
