Too bad I can't even care for myself. lol
I would suggest checking the back of the garden centers of B & M's like Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart/Etc. as many of these end up in the clearance section because they look a little poor (couple burnt pedals or small or no flowers) and not beautiful like the ones they have out front that attract the consumer. I have seen them from $0.10 cents - $0.50 quite often (Now is a perfect time to look). These succulents are super hardy and you easily bounce them back alive or to a healthy plant. I am not a green thumb by any means and if I can do it, I bet you can too. I live in Norcal and I have planted some really beat up ones and they bounce back strong.

The good part is they do not need much water and some areas provide drought tolerant yard/plants with a rebate. Check you local area!

All in all, these grow easily and hard to kill. Best part, if you forget or too lazy to water for a week or two, its all good! Applause

Also to add - the clearance ones tend to be in 2 inch containers up to 1 gals.
Horrific reviews.

Reviews don't look so promising. Since the seller is Amazon, I will give it a shot.

Can you plant them in flower bed or needs to be in pot? Do they die in winter or are evergreen?

Depending on your zone - i'm a zone 6/7 and these types will not survive the winter & can be grown in pots for summer, but have to bring them inside during the winter.

Sedums that are used for groundcover are usually the winter hardy ones.

Do these actually get much bigger that you would need to repot them?

Yes, they can grow pretty big. Coworker of mine had one in the office and it grew about a foot tall! This was under a plant light most of the time. She ended up repotting.

I had a good many of these come dead, dried out completely.

They are non-returnable. Attached is a photo of the ones that remain:

[Link to photo since FP formatting takes them out sometimes: https://slickdeals.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=9176195&d=1593035573 ]

[Edit to add, I had bought the 20 pack for $26.39, Aug 2019]
